Product Development Leadership Camp (PDLC)
Integrating Intelligence…
Product Development Leadership Camp (PDLC)
Recap
In the Agile Coaching Retreat 2023, we gathered on a beautiful island. We learned to play tennis, became better at visual illustrations, did morning yoga and walks in the forest, and took a boat trip to the Stockholm archipelago. It was an open space where participants brought several interesting topics to learn and share and, above all, made connections.
In the Regional Scrum Gathering 2024, keynote speakers discussed human and artificial intelligence. In three tracks, 26 speakers shared their depth of experience, and 150+ participants from 20+ countries joined us.
Leveraging on the success of our Agile Coaching Retreat 2023 and Regional Scrum Gathering 2024, we have recognized a pattern to further build upon our theme of “Integrating Intelligence…”
We are gathering again for an exciting Product Development Leadership Camp in Stockholm in September 2025.
What is PDLC?
The Product Development Leadership Conference Stockholm 2026 is an international 2-day conference, fully in English, that gathers practitioners and thought leaders from around the world to help shape the conversation on Product Management, Leadership, and Development today.
The event has the following intent:
Addressing a Market Gap for Product Leaders: While Agile and Scrum events are common, there are limited opportunities for product leaders to share insights, learn from peers, and develop new practices—especially in the form of an immersive residential retreat. This event would fill that gap, providing a high-value, experience-driven learning environment.
Thought Leadership and Industry Influence: This event is tailored to product leadership in Agile environments and would demonstrate thought leadership in modern product management, business agility, and leadership development, which are becoming increasingly relevant in today’s market.
Why PDLCSTK26?
Various trends and themes around product management and strategy are buzzing across thought leadership, blogs, and industry discussions nowadays. For example:
AI-Driven Product Strategy: Product leaders need to pair tech fluency with ethical awareness and human judgment
Product-Led Growth & Outcome Orientation: Measure success by outcomes, not outputs.
Evolving Product Teams and Roles: Collaboration and adaptability are reshaping how product work is done.
Speed, Rapid Prototyping, and No-Code/Low-Code Tools: Rapid experimentation is the new competitive edge.
These trends matter a lot because:
They go beyond technology — touching on mindset, culture, and organizational design.
They call for a more mature product role: less about managing backlogs, more about leading value and impact.
They turn “product” into a strategic field, not just an operational one: choosing which problems to solve, for whom, and how to measure success.
And they reinforce that learning, experimentation, and adaptability are what set great product teams apart.
Who will benefit from it?
Anyone interested in Product Development and Leadership. Product Owners, Project leaders, Product leaders, Portfolio Managers, Technical leaders. Managers at all levels, Coaches, Scrum Masters and anyone who wants to improve product development practices at their company.
When will it happen?
The conference will be held on Monday-Tuesday, 14-15 September 2026, when there is still plenty of light to enjoy.
Being neither too cold nor too warm, September is considered a great time to visit Sweden, when Stockholm can have up to seven hours of sunshine each day, with the sun not setting until around 7pm.
Location
Stockholm is located in south-eastern Sweden where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. The city is made up of 14 islands, linked by a total of 57 bridges and represents the cultural, political, and economic centre of Sweden.
Stockholm is considered one of the most inclusive cities in the world. When it comes to what to do, whether you like nature, history or enjoying a cozy urban atmosphere, you will find it in Stockholm.
Here on Elfvik's headland, with Stockholm's inlet as a backdrop, conferences, courses and parties have been organized for decades. Here there is a noticeable feeling of warmth and community among staff and guests. Our history remains in the walls: people have been coming here to meet and learn from each other since 1969. Of course, the facility has been expanded and modernized to meet today's high demands on conference comfort. But the soul in Rönneberga lives on in the folk, down-to-earth spirit.
A spirit of commitment and curiosity. A spirit that must be experienced.
